The University contacted Broxap to discuss the issue they had over cycle parking for students at the University. They had the requirement for cycle parking shelters but were working in a limited area and the amount of students with a capacity to use the shelters was greater than the amount of shelters most companies could supply.
This wasn’t particularly a problem to Broxap as the company has a range of cycle parking shelters designed to accommodate their Two Tier Hi-Rise cycle parking system, utilising the upper pull down trough parking system and Sheffield Stands in the lower portion.
The University decided to take Cambridge Xpan Shelters with Hi-Rise systems installed beneath. This would give a two tier cycle parking solution to each shelter and the cycles beneath would still be protected from the rain.
