Basingstoke Town Centre, Hampshire

Basingstoke town centre was identified as a key area for focus in plans to review the Borough’s conservation areas. Broxap manufactured and supplied a selection of traditional cast iron products to complement the existing surroundings and aesthetics within the busy and thriving town centre location. These products were painted black with gold highlighting and supplied with Basingstoke and Deane’s very own town centre crest, also highlighted in gold.

The nature of this regeneration scheme required:

• 30 cast iron ‘Pierhead’ Tall bollards

• 20 cast iron ‘Pierhead’ litter bins – 63 litre capacity

• 9 heavy duty cast iron ‘Taunton’ planters – 580 litre capacity

• 10 ‘Basingstoke’ ductile iron tree planters – Large capacity 2227 litre capacity – This planter was specially designed for the planting of trees
