Bonaly Primary School sought to improve their outdoor environment and promote eco-friendly practices among students.

The school installed a range of new benches, including our Holyrood Steel Framed Benches, Weyburn Benches and Weyburn Steel Seats that feature a neutral charm, completing the outdoor area of the school. A few custom-made timber benches were also strategically placed around the playground and in shaded. These benches provided plenty of space for children to sit and socialise during break and lunch times.

To encourage cycling to school, Broxap designed and manufactured an Apollo Junior Cycle Shelter. Comprising of a curved roof and tubular curved end frames, this shelter adds a sleek and minimalistic design. Under the shelter, our Sheffield Extra Cycle Stands were installed to give students plenty of space to park and lock their bikes securely.

In the playground, a Hyperbolic Tensile Shade Structure was installed to give students a space to enjoy the outdoors, both rain and shine. Teachers can also use the space under the fabric canopy as outdoor classrooms to enrich the learning experience.

The school also introduced several Derby Round Steel Litter Bins at key locations including playgrounds, entrances, and near the benches to keep the school clean and encourage proper waste disposal.
