The school was in need of outdoor furniture and equipment that could withstand heavy use and provide a safe and enjoyable environment for their students.
Working with Balfour Beatty Construction Ltd, Broxap designed and manufactured a range of outdoor furniture and play equipment that met the school's needs.
Our Southcote Benches and Arborfield Benches added elegant outdoor seating whilst complementing the natural aesthetic of the school. The Timber Picnic Tables and Timber Benches added a great space for students and teachers to eat and socialise during break and lunch times.
Sheffield Cycle Stands were also installed at the school’s entrance to securely hold bikes.
Hand Made Places, a division of Broxap, also designed and manufactured a range of play equipment to the project, designed to promote physical activity, exploration, and imaginative play. This included a Storyteller’s Chair, Modular Radius Seating, Dizzy Discs, Chalk Boards, and Activity Boards.
The project was a great success, with the school reporting increased use of the outdoor space by students during break times and after school.
