Beautiful display cases have been created to support tourism management across a popular holiday destination.
Conwy County Borough Council instructed Broxap to design four post-mounted cases to be sited at visitor spots across the North Wales community.
The single sided cases are all topped with a ‘Chatsworth’ header board decorated with the name of the location.
Rhos-On-Sea; Porth Eirias; Penmaenmawr and Beacons will all benefit from a display case.
The plain steel posts are painted black and have a specialist coastal coating to prevent corrosion.
The aluminium case and header board are also black, with the addition of gold highlighting to the cap finials and text.
The case houses a magnetic back board for an easy and useful way to display information. It is conveniently accessed with side opening door which features a locking mechanism.
The display pane in the door is made of PETG for superior impact resistance.
The almost £15,000 project was designed to take account of the coastal environment. The high-quality finish matches existing display cases and street furniture installations across the area.
They offer a straightforward, visual way to communicate with visitors and residents highlighting events, beach forecasts and places of interest.
They are now in position ready to welcome travellers.
Rhos-on-Sea is a neat seaside town with a traditional promenade and heritage walk taking in 26 historic sites.
Meanwhile Porth Eirias is a new build development featuring a non-tidal imported beach.
Penmaenmawr and Beacons feature stunning views and traditional scenic landscapes.
