Brand new Greenfaulds High School required smart external furniture – and expertise from across the Broxap group of companies helped to bring the project to life.
The school was built under the final phase of Scotland’s Schools for the Future programme and was handed over to North Lanarkshire Council in September 2016.
The new facility was built over three storeys to accommodate 1,350 pupils on a site adjacent to the previous school.
Demolition of the old building made way for the development of an all-weather eight-lane athletics track and state-of-the-art sports facilities.
Working for Advance Construction (Scotland) Ltd, Broxap provided a series of products to ensure the outside of the school matched the high quality interior.
The contract brought together our streetscene and shelters divisions which worked together to seamlessly deliver a range of cycle parking, sports shelters and litter bins.
As the Gaelic Medium Education Secondary School for the area, identity was very important for Greenfaulds High School.
A series of
Derby E Contemporary litter bins, along with Flat Top Stainless Steel bollards, were provided to ensure the site stayed in tip top condition.
The litter bins were personalised with the school name, resulting in a tidy welcome to visitors, students and staff.
Wardale Cycle Compound was also supplied with space for 68 cycles and short stay cycle parking was catered for with some Stainless steel Sheffield stands.
Broxap also supplied a
Harrowby Sports Shelter positioned at the edge of the athletics track, which is used by athletes/coaches participating in events.
