Greenfields Apartments is situated in the Leighton-Linslade parish and offers 82 one- and two-bedroom apartments.
Working with Hill Partnerships Ltd, they appointed Broxap to design and install a custom shelter to store waste bins for the apartment blocks. They were keen to use sustainable materials and wanted the structure to blend in with the surrounding environment.
Broxap designed and manufactured a Customised Blox Shelter using vertical panned timber slats and a galvanised steel frame that met the requirements. The robust modular construction features load bearing purlins and base plated ground fixing.
The FSC-certified timber fascia boards used in the construction of the shelter ensured that it was environmentally friendly and sustainable.
The front of the shelter was fitted with double doors to provide easy access to the waste bins. We also installed a hasp and staple locking mechanism to ensure the shelter was safe and secure when not in use.
The custom shelter was installed by Broxap within the agreed timeframe and budget. It blended well with the surrounding environment, which improved the overall appearance of the apartment block.
The new shelter was well received by the residents of the apartment block. We are pleased to have contributed to improving the functionality and look of the apartment block and look forward to working on similar projects in the future.
