Helsby High School is committed to promoting sustainable transportation options for its Sixth-Form students. As an increasing number of students chose to cycle to school, the existing cycle parking facilities needed to be improved to meet the demand.
Broxap proposed installing a series of Regal Cycle Shelters to create a comprehensive cycle parking area. The shelters were custom-designed to accommodate 20 bikes while ensuring easy access and manoeuvrability.
Broxap took a collaborative approach to design, manufacture, and install the new cycle parking facilities. We worked closely with the school administration to understand their specific requirements and ensure that the new shelters aligned with their vision.
The shelters were powder-coated in a vibrant yellow (RAL 1023) to enhance visibility and aesthetics, and the installation of the shelters included a concrete pad to ensure stability.
The increased capacity and improved accessibility encouraged more students to choose cycling as their preferred mode of transportation, contributing to a more sustainable and eco-friendly school environment.
