Valley Invicta Primary School at Holborough Lakes are one of the eight members of the Valley Invicta Academies Trust, a family of primary and secondary schools which work in partnership to provide outstanding education for all children.

Holborough Lakes strongly believe that every child can reach their full potential with the correct nurturing and teaching. The school works in partnership with parents and the local community to provide outstanding education for all the children at Holborough Lakes.

As part of the huge renovation of their outdoor area, which included a pirate ship, a sandpit and mud kitchen, and water wall, they required a new shelter to wrap around the building. Our Newcastle Monopitch canopy was a perfect fit, featuring 16mm thick multi-wall polycarbonate roof cladding and galvanised columns with a powder-coated finish in Anthracite Grey (RAL7016).

The structure provides a number of advantages to the school including weather protection for students and teachers, as well as play equipment that can be stored underneath the shelter to keep it dry and safe.  It also means outdoor space can be used more, so outdoor play and interactive learning can happen whatever the weather.

The positive impact of the new shelter aligns with the school's commitment to providing a supportive and stimulating educational setting for all students.
