Origin Housing are registered social landlords who provide affordable housing to communities, and care and support services to the people who live in them. Founded back in 1924, they now manage over 7,800 homes in London and Hertfordshire.
The developers of the project were looking for outdoor seating options that would match the modern aesthetic of the buildings, while also being durable and affordable.
After researching various options, they approached Broxap Street Furniture. Working with Hill Partnership Ltd, we took our time to understand their specific needs and requirements, and then provided a range of seating options that would meet their budget and design preferences.
Their chosen seating options included our Plaza I Benches and Plaza III S Benches with backrests from our timber street furniture range. The steel frames of these benches were hot dip galvanised and powder coated with a dark metallic grey, while the slats were made from FSC®-certified timber.
The seating was designed to be both comfortable and practical, with ergonomic contours and ample space for people to sit and relax. The steel frames provided a sturdy and stable base, while the timber slats added a natural warmth and texture to the overall design.
Residents and visitors alike appreciated the comfortable and stylish design, and the seating helped to create a welcoming and communal atmosphere in the outdoor spaces.
