Sales Support Coordinator

About Us:

Broxap is a family owned engineering business based in Newcastle under Lyme, Staffordshire, established in 1946.  We are market leaders in the design and manufacture of street furniture, shelters, covered walkways and playground equipment.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:30, with additional hours as may be required

Holidays: 25 days holiday entitlement, plus 8 bank holidays

The Role:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a bright, experienced and enthusiastic sales support professional to join our Street Furniture sales team.

Working with the public and private sectors, our client base includes local authorities, the education sector, architects and contractors. Experience working within in similar role is desirable. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide online customers with sales support over the “webchat” medium.
  • Provide sales quotations and technical sales advice in a timely manner, responding to all online or webmail enquiries and other “fast-track” sales enquiries! 
  • Provide “inbound tele-sales” support to the sales office, to provide a “fast-track” type service to ordering enquiries, issuing an email quotation.
  • Sign-off and collate into a monthly report all “web-sales” conversions, to include e-commerce (direct web-sales) and self-generated orders won. 
  • Constructing written quotations utilising the in-house CRM system as required.
  • Ensuring customer receipt of quotation (pre- and post-quote);
  • Support to Sales Order Processing as required - Accurately inputting orders onto Sage business system when required.
  • Support to the Trader team as required – issuing RFQs to internal estimators and external suppliers for current product costs, delivery costs and lead times. 

Experience and Required Skills:

The ideal candidate will ideally possess the following attributes:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • The ability to interpret drawings.
  • Have the confidence to read through bills of quantities and tender documents.
    Experience of the tender process.
  • Strong organisation and time management skills to ensure that time is managed effectively.
  • Sales negotiation skills.
  • Excellent keyboard skills with experience of in-house database systems and MS Office.
  • Ability to work to a high level of accuracy with minimal supervision.
  • Positive, can-do attitude.
