Delivery Information

 

Express Delivery

We offer express delivery on many of our products to postcodes within Great Britain. We aim to deliver most items within 3 to 5 working days, and next-day delivery is available for select items—see our 'In Stock' page for more information.

Please note: All express delivery orders must be placed before 12 noon the day before.


Standard Delivery 

Broxap offers a standard carriage service for all supply-only products. Lead times vary from product to product; lead times on made to order items can be expedited to suit your reasonable requirements. Our order confirmation document details the estimated delivery date for your goods once ordered. Please check your confirmation for the estimated delivery date.

Delivery costs to the UK mainland are displayed at the checkout stage once the address has been confirmed. For deliveries outside of these areas, you should contact our sales team. 

All deliveries exclude mechanical off-loading unless stated otherwise.

When the items purchased are small enough to deliver by parcel, parcel couriers are used to deliver them. However, if the delivery weight is over 20kg or the dimensions exceed the limits permitted for a parcel by the courier, then the product/products will be dispatched by pallet(s). The staff at the work site will load the pallets to maximise efficiency and space without compromising the safety of the driver, the customer and the integrity of the pallet structure or product.

Please note that some products require a specialist chargeable delivery service, which includes a lifting plan for items that require a high-AB vehicle delivery or specific off-loading needs, such as curtain-sided vehicles. 

When a HiAB delivery is included in our quotation, it does not include the provision of a site-specific lifting plan unless it is explicitly included. A lifting plan is not typically required for most sites, but if you require one, it can be arranged at an additional cost.

A lifting plan may be required if the customer does not have appropriate off-loading equipment or if there are site-specific requirements. Unless explicitly included in our quotation, it is the customer's responsibility to off-load such deliveries. 

If off-loading facilities are not available at the delivery site, please inform us in advance so that we can discuss the available options. Additional fees will apply if the delivery fails due to a lack of off-loading facilities.

Same Day Collection 

We offer same-day collection for in-stock bollards if you order before 12 pm. However, please note that you must collect your order before 3 pm on the same day.

If you pick up the bollards yourself, we will assist you using a forklift truck on our Broxap site. Please be aware that once the product is in your possession, Broxap relinquishes any responsibility for the transport and manoeuvre of the product from the vehicle and thereafter.

Same day collection is only available from Broxap Ltd, Rowhurst Industrial Estate, Chesterton, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, ST5 6BD.


Tracking Delivery 

Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email with your order details and an estimated delivery date. 

If you need to change your delivery address or have any special instructions, please contact our sales team as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your requests.

In the unlikely event that there is a delay in your delivery, we will keep you informed every step of the way. Our team will work quickly to resolve any issues and ensure that your order arrives as soon as possible.

Our production facility and offices are closed on bank holidays and for an extended period over Christmas and New Year. This does affect delivery and collection dates in some cases. Accessing, Accepting and Preparing for Delivery

At Broxap, we take pride in delivering your purchase promptly and efficiently. We understand that receiving your order on time is paramount to you. Please read and follow our guidelines below to ensure the delivery process is smooth and hassle-free.

Accessing Delivery

Before placing your order, it is essential to check if any restrictions may prevent us from delivering to your location. Please make sure that our delivery team has access to the delivery address.

Any access issues and/or security restrictions must be noted under 'special delivery instructions' when placing your order, along with additional contact details if required.

Accepting Delivery

It is important to inspect your delivery upon arrival to ensure that your order is in pristine condition and that you have received everything you ordered. In the unlikely event of any damage, you should notify us within 48 hours (working days). We recommend that you or a trusted representative be present to accept the delivery and sign for it.

If you refuse to take delivery of any goods and/or to allow the performance of services, then Broxap shall be entitled to withhold delivery and/or performance of any other goods and reserve the right to charge a re-delivery charge.

Preparing for Delivery

To ensure that the delivery process runs smoothly, we ask that you make adequate preparations, including removing any obstacles that may impede access before the delivery date. 

As we offer a huge range of products, some of which are heavy and/or bulky, or if smaller items are ordered in large quantities and must be palletised, then these goods may need to be unloaded with the aid of special equipment such as a forklift truck or with additional manpower. If you anticipate or have any doubts as to whether you may have difficulty with unloading your order, you must tell us this in the 'special delivery instructions' section when placing your order.

In some cases, we may need to charge extra if we must provide an alternative delivery method to our standard service. All pallets, crates, wheels, and other packaging specified as returnable will be charged for and credited if not returned within 28 days.


Damaged, Faulty or Missing Goods

In line with Broxap's Terms & Conditions of Sale, the buyer must notify Broxap Customer Services, in writing, of any loss, defect or suspected defect within 48 hours (working days) of the date of delivery, and the delivery note signed for as 'Damaged' or Unchecked'.

If the order is not signed for as damaged or unchecked and/or not reported within 48 hours, we may have difficulty successfully upholding your claim.

On receipt of any such notification, Broxap will undertake a full investigation to determine the root cause.

If it is confirmed that the condition of the item is not as it should be, Broxap shall make good by replacement or, at its sole option, repair. Broxap reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to credit the buyer in lieu of repair or replacement.

If the products delivered are not what you ordered, please notify us immediately.


Order Cancellation

For standard products, we may, at our sole discretion, accept non-fault returns or cancellation requests. Restocking or cancellation charges may apply in such cases, and the buyer will be responsible for any associated transport costs, and other administration costs. To initiate a return or cancellation, please contact us at [email protected]. We will assess the order status and provide guidance accordingly.

For non-standard products, we are unable to accept non-fault returns or cancellations. This is because these products are typically custom-made to the buyer's specifications, making them difficult to resell or repurpose. Therefore, please be sure to carefully consider your order before finalising it.
